Donna M. McCune

Prior to joining the Corcoran Consulting Group in 1998, she was an administrator in a high volume medical/surgical ophthalmic practice in Connecticut for 12 years. Her responsibilities included strategic planning, financial reporting, marketing, and personnel.

She received her certification as a Certified Coding Specialist for Physicians from the American Health Information Management Association in the fall of 1998 and Certified Ophthalmic Executive Certification in the spring of 1999. An active member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators, she served on the ASOA Board of Governors from 1997-1998. From 1999-2009 she served on the National Board for the Certification of Ophthalmic Executives and chaired the board from 2004-2006. 

A nationally recognized speaker, Donna participates annually at the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) Meeting and the Annual Congress of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA), as well as several state ophthalmic and optometric society meetings. She also provides private consulting to eye care providers. She has authored numerous articles on assorted reimbursement and practice management issues in various vision care publications. 

Donna conducts business from Corcoran Consulting Group’s office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
