Distance Learning - History Taking Revisited (JCAHPO & AAPC)
 
This course provides a thorough introduction to history taking to technicians who are new to ophthalmology while offering a useful ‘refresher’ to experience technicians. The speaker describes the elements of the medical history in detail and demonstrates how each part is required to get a complete picture of the patient’s current health status, helping the physician establish an appropriate diagnosis and treatment plan. Sample forms are provide and clinical examples of ‘good charts’ and ‘not-so-good charts’ are presented for illustrative purposes.
