Corcoran Consulting Group (CCG) is seeking a highly motivated, energetic consultant who can be located anywhere in the continental U.S.

CCG specializes in coding and reimbursement issues for ophthalmology and optometry with a team committed to being the best-in-class consulting firm in the eye care industry.

Regularly you will . . .

  • Play a key role in establishing and growing CCG’s client reach making an immediate impact
  • Demonstrate analytical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
  • Proactively create and deliver presentations
  • Work remotely with accessibility to a major metropolitan airport for required travel
  • Report to the CCG leadership team

Success in this position will require . . .

  • Clinical experience in ophthalmology
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred; Master’s degree is a plus
  • COE, CPC, and CPMA certifications upon hire or within 12 months of hire
  • COT or COMT certifications preferred
  • Working knowledge of Medicare regulations
  • Familiarity with ophthalmic billing processes and coding
  • Understanding of compliance in the context of ophthalmic medical practice
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, complex work environment
  • Management and supervisory experience demonstrating leadership ability
  • Experience and confidence with public speaking
  • High energy level for a position that requires much more than normal work hours
  • Superior communication skills, both verbally and in writing (published articles is a plus)
  • Mathematical competency and familiarity with bookkeeping and accounting
  • Ability to work independently in a home office
  • Ability to travel within the United States at least two weeks per month with no restrictions
