2011 Medicare Deductible and Premiums

CMS published a fact sheet November 4, 2010, announcing Medicare premiums and deductibles for 2011. The Medicare Part B deductible increases from $155 to $162 on January 1, 2011.

The 2011 Part B premium remains unchanged for most Medicare beneficiaries, and will continue to be $96.40 a month. This is unchanged since 2008.

Medicare beneficiaries with taxable income greater than $85,000 for an individual or $170,000 for a couple will pay higher Medicare Part B premiums between $115.40 and $369.10 monthly, depending on income reported on their tax returns.
