2017 MIPS Final Scores and 2019 Payment Adjustments available

This week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that the final composite scores for 2017 MIPS and the “performance feedback” are now available.  This shows not only your MIPS/QPP scores for 2017, but also the percentage increase or decrease you can expect in 2019.

To see the 2017 information, you need to be (1) a provider with direct access of your own or (2) have an assigned role within the provider Enterprise Identity Management (EIDM) account; the QPP site uses these credentials also.  You can link to the QPP Login here for this.  If you have not been to your EIDM account recently, passwords do expire so be prepared to create a new one; two factor ID is now always required to ensure proper access to this sensitive information.  CMS has also noted that, if you need technical assistance accessing your QPP report, you can call CMS’ QPP helpline at 866-288-8292.

Once you view your report, if you disagree with it, you can apply for what CMS calls a “targeted review”.  You have until September 30, 2018 to ask for a review.

We are happy to assist providers and groups in any way with MIPS/QPP, chart reviews, payer actions, and can also provide training on these or other subjects.  Please contact us via one of the below links or on our “App”, Corcoran 24/7, which can be accessed via one of the links below.
