Additional New Technology IOL Added

Effective August 27, 2010, Lenstec’s Softec HD Aspheric Posterior Chamber IOLs were added to the new technology IOL category for “reduced spherical aberration”. The NTIOL status permits ambulatory surgery centers to receive an additional $50 from Medicare by adding Q1003 to their claim.
