ICD-10 Updates for October 1, 2017

On April 14, 2017, CMS published proposed changes to ICD-10 for October 1, 2017, along with the proposed hospital inpatient prospective payment system rule.

Changes are modest, with seventy changes to eye codes including spelling corrections in the H02.051-H02.059 series. Expect additional degenerative myopia codes and replacement codes for several low-vision codes.
