PQRS 2014 Reports
If you successfully reported PQRS in 2014, you should have received their bonus payment in the last few weeks from CMS. The 0.5% bonus for 2014 was the last PQRS bonus for the program that began in 2007.
Many eligible professionals participated in the 2014 program and submitted enough data to avoid a 2016 penalty but did not qualify for the bonus. For those who did not submit enough data to avoid the 2016 penalty, CMS began distributing letters on September 11, 2015, to eligible professionals who will see a 2% negative payment adjustment for unsatisfactory reporting.
The adjustment is applied at the NPI number-level so it is possible to have some providers in a group who will be penalized while others are not.
For those who believe the adjustment is an error, an informal review process exists. The request must be submitted via the Quality Net page between September 9 and November 9.
The Quality Net portal can be found at: https://www.qualitynet.org/portal/server.pt/community/pqri_home/212

Once CMS releases the 2016 PQRS requirements, Corcoran Consulting Group will update our PQRS monograph to guide you through the process. Watch our website for more information on when this updated monograph will be available.
