CPT 2021 EM Technical Corrections

On January 1, 2021, a major change was inaugurated for billing and charting in-office and outpatient evaluation and management (E/M) services (992xx). The general ophthalmological services (aka eye codes) were unchanged. In March 2021, the AMA announced important but not substantial revisions to their earlier guidance on E/M coding.
