ICD-10 took effect on 10/1/2015 and one year later the code set has changed significantly: 1,974 new codes, 311 codes deleted, and another 425 codes revised. In particular, there are significant changes to codes to report diabetes, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. At the same time, there were subtle changes to the instructions for 7th character extension, and excludes1/excludes2. This webinar will help you avoid many problems and challenges associated with these changes. You’ll be glad you did!
