ICD-10 Coding

ICD-10 took effect on 10/1/2015 and one year later the code set has changed significantly: 1,974 new codes, 311 codes deleted, and another 425 codes revised. In particular, there are significant changes to codes to report diabetes, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. At the same time, there were subtle changes to the instructions for 7th character extension, and excludes1/excludes2. Because the first year grace period has expired, more claims are being rejected, and getting reimbursed is more difficult. Good coding is essential for your continued success and efficiency. This webinar will help you avoid many problems and challenges associated with these changes. You’ll be glad you did!
