Training:
Our goal is to customize a program to meet the needs of our audience. Our courses are suitable for ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians, administrative personnel, technicians, and billing staff.

Each program is taught with a comprehensive handout that will be a valuable resource long after the program is over. We offer full-day programs, half-day programs, and brief one to two hour programs. They can be conducted during the day, evening, weekdays or weekends.

Chart Review:
A chart review examines a representative sample of charts and the corresponding financial ledgers to identify billing errors and assess the quality of your chart documentation, particularly for Medicare.  We also look for ways to improve reimbursement by identifying missed charges or underutilized services. When errors are identified, we quantify the frequency and magnitude of the erroneous claims for reimbursement and estimate the economic impact on collections.

Fee Schedule Analysis:
Corcoran Consulting Group analyzes your existing fee schedule and provides our recommendations for revision for all applicable CPT codes based on Medicare’s allowable charges, and reasonable and customary values used by other third party payers in your community. We do not set fees for our clients; our role is an advisory one.
